Whole-body Care
I look for where the problem actually starts
No traffic. No waiting room. No childcare to arrange.
I'm a mobile pelvic health physical therapist, which means I make house calls. Maybe you're newly postpartum and can't imagine packing up the baby. Maybe you're squeezing a visit into a long lunch. Either way, I bring the treatment table to you.
Baby can stay right there with us. We'll work around feedings and naps and figure it out together.
Every visit is one-on-one with me. No aides, no assistants, and enough time to actually answer your questions. I get to see you in your environment, allowing me to fully understand your needs.

meet your ptHi, I'm Ashley Fulkerson
PT, DPT, PCES.
Athletics and exercise have always been a big part of my life. I always wanted to incorporate body movement into my career. I chose physical therapy because I could help people stay active and care for everyone from babies to older adults. I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Montana in 2011. I have been treating patients in the Puget Sound area ever since.
I was introduced to pelvic health at my first job as a PT. Two of my mentors were pelvic health therapists and I saw first hand how they were able to make a positive (often life-changing) impact on this special patient population. I quickly took the next steps of receiving specialized training in pelvic health. Not long after, I took over a full pelvic health caseload at another clinic, and I've specialized in pelvic health ever since. I have continued to learn and grow through my practice and continuing education. I pride myself in using evidenced-based care. I have recently earned a certification as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES).
"Women come to me thinking its normal to have leaks, that sex will always hurt, and that pelvic pain isn’t treatable. Helping them realize that isn’t true is my favorite part of this work."
I'm an introvert who loves real, one-on-one connection, and pelvic floor therapy is built on those connections. You'll never be rushed, and you're always in charge of your care.
I'm a mom, too. I know how hard it is to take care of yourself when everyone else needs you. My goal is to make life easier for you, whether you are a new or seasoned mom or have a hard time stepping away from the office.
what i believeYou're in charge of your body, and your care.
A lot of people feel nervous before their first pelvic floor visit. That makes sense. My job is to make sure you feel comfortable, heard, and never rushed
Trust and safety:
Nothing you tell me is too much or too strange. With me, your concerns will be heard and validated. Together we’ll create a path forward.
Your body, your call:
I’ll provide multiple treatment options for you to consider, allowing you to choose what’s best for you.
Open communication:
Tell me what's working and what isn't. I'd rather adjust the plan than have you push through something that doesn't feel right.
Whole body care:
Your pelvic floor function is connected to your hips, back, feet, breathing, and more. I look at the whole picture to find where the problem actually starts.
“I appreciate how Ashley has always been professional, kind, and receptive to my particular issues. She shows up with a table, stretches, and exercises that are tailored to actually help me. Thank you, Ashley!”
— Meri Klasen
Why out-of-network?
When insurance sets the rules, care gets narrow. If your hip hurts but the problem starts at your ankle, insurance often only pays me to treat the hip. And your visits can stop when insurance decides you're good enough, not when you've reached your goals.
Working out-of-network gives me the time to do a full-body assessment, find the root of the problem, and keep working with you until you get where you want to be.
No referral or prior authorization needed, unless required by your insurance
HOW payment WORKs1. Check Your Benefits
Call your insurance and ask what they reimburse for out-of-network physical therapy. Many plans reimburse a good amount, though some pay less.
2. Pay At Your Visit
Payment is due at each appointment.
3. Send In Your Superbill
I'll give you a superbill, a detailed receipt with the codes your insurance needs, so you can submit it for reimbursement.
is this right for you?Ready to feel strong in your body again?
I don't have a magic wand. We work together as a team. You'll have a few exercises or activities to do between visits to ensure treatment carryover and progress.
This is a great fit if you're ready to take ownership of your body and put in the work. Maybe you want to be strong for your family, physically and emotionally. Maybe you want to be able to take that vacation without worrying about leaking. Maybe you're adapting to a body that's changed after a baby or in midlife. Or maybe you just want to stay active well into your golden years. Wherever you're starting, we'll work with the body you have now.
frequently asked questions-
No. You don't need a referral or prior authorization to start. Some insurances do require a referral or authorization for out-of-network reimbursement.
-
I'm an out-of-network provider, so I don't bill insurance directly. You pay at each visit, and I'll give you a superbill to send to your insurance for reimbursement. Call your plan to ask about out-of-network benefits for physical therapy.
-
I'll go over pricing when we talk, so you can decide what makes sense for you.
-
You’re welcome to pay with a credit or debit card, including HSA cards, as well as by check.
-
Nope. I come to your home, and your baby or little ones can be right there.
-
I will arrive at your home a few minutes early to set up my table or equipment wherever you will be most comfortable. We will spend the first visit getting to know each other. We will discuss your medical history, symptoms and goals. I will complete an examination based on our discussion. We will then discuss a plan of care, based on the findings of the examination and your goals. Each visit will last 60 minutes.
-
Only if you're comfortable. An internal exam can give additional insight into your symptoms and confirm our hypothesis, similar to how an x-ray confirms a bone fracture. Internal exams are always optional, and consent is always requested prior to an exam or treatment. You will be given alternate options if an internal exam or treatment are not wanted or is not appropriate.
